High pressure influence is on course, keeping conditions largely calm and settled. Much of the period looks relatively dry.
A sharp change in overnight temperatures looks set to develop later on, around Saturday 11th July, and the overall trend is for temperatures to rise both day and night as the period progresses, and conditions may turn more unsettled as the period progresses.
Hot conditions are expected at times, with highs reaching into the 30s. Peak heat is on course on Thursday 9 July, with highs around 32°C. Overnight temperatures will dip lowest on Saturday 11 July, falling to 9°C. There is a notable spread between the highest and lowest temperatures, so conditions will vary considerably.
